Torch-lit descent: Join the ESF ski instructors for a magical descent under the night sky, available for two-star skiers and above. Adults and children can participate, with torches in hand, under the guidance of professionals. It's priced at €20 for both adults and children and usually occurs on Thursdays around 16:15.

Colorado luge - toboggan run La Plagne: In La Plagne Centre there's a super fun toboggan run. The starting point is at the bottom of the Colorado ski lift. After an exciting descent, you can swap your sledge for your ski gear. Remember, sledge and helmets are essential, and participants must be at least 1.40m tall.

Snowshoeing: Montchavin - Les Coches has numerous snowshoe trails. Hire a guide from the ESF ski school or Evolution 2 for a more tailored experience. Evolution 2 also provides an enchanting evening snowshoe trek, finishing it off with a Savoyard meal at an altitude restaurant.

Airboard: Experience the thrill of airboarding: sliding down the slopes on an inflatable sledge after skiers have left. Helmets are mandatory. Cost: €30 per person.

Fat bike downhill: Traverse snowy landscapes on electrically assisted fat bikes available in Montchavin. Appropriate attire includes hiking boots or trail trainers and gloves.

Electric snow scooters: Embark on an exhilarating ride on electric scooters through Montchavin-Les Coches, starting near the new tree-top adventure park.

Bobsleigh track La Plagne: In La Plagne 1800, the famed Olympic bobsleigh track awaits. You can experience the track in various ways, such as the Bob Raft, Bob Racing, or the Speed Luge. Access is easiest by car or taxi.

Husky ride: Experience the magic of a husky ride at Le Plan Bois above Les Coches. It's advisable to book in advance.

Paragliding (Parapente): Elevate your adventure with Evolution 2's tandem paragliding over the majestic mountains. Accessible to skiers, snowboarders, and pedestrians. Evolution2's website

Indoor Activities

Whether you fancy a break from skiing or are seeking snowy evening entertainment, Montchavin - Les Coches offers a variety of activities.

Cinema: Located at 1 Montée des Tsavanias Montchavin, 73210 Montchavin - Les Coches. On cinema nights, a complimentary bus runs between Montchavin and Les Coches for ease of access.

Ice-rink: Situated at Plateau de la Patinoire Les Coches, 73210 Montchavin - Les Coches. It remains open throughout the winter season.

Montchavin Swimming Pool and Wellbeing Centre: Find it near the Montchavin chairlift. A free bus service stops at the Neige et Soleil bus stop. The centre is open from 10.00 to 20.00 on most winter days (refer to the website for exact timings). Facilities include an indoor 70 m² spa pool, wellness amenities such as a hammam, sauna, and jacuzzi, a dedicated children's play area, and a SPA OCÉANE® treatment zone. Massage: Massage Me provides mobile massage services. Their therapists visit your accommodation, offering appointments between 8 am and 8 pm. Family Activities

Snow Garden: This secure space is designed for young children to get their first taste of skiing. However, they must be accompanied by a club or an instructor.

Sledging: You can buy a bum board from either Slalom Sports in Montchavin or Evolution 2. Designated areas on gentle slopes are available for sledging, offering free fun for both children and adults.

Yoga Sessions: Silvia Fairclough hosts yoga sessions to enhance flexibility and strength. These sessions are held on Tuesdays from 17.30 to roughly 18.45 or 19.00. The cost is 12 euros, and they take place at Salle de Maudre, Montchavin.

Magic Lessons: Held in Montchavin's Salle Mudry (Mudry Hall), Robin the Magician, trained by world-renowned magicians, offers magic lessons. Each session offers unique lessons, so budding magicians can attend daily. You can also engage further on Facebook for continuous learning and idea sharing.
