We are Ski La Source based in Montchavin - Les Coches. It’s nice to meet you!
Back in 1997, we started the adventure in the French Alps with a small chalet in Les Coches. Since then, we’ve lived in the area and have firm roots.
Supplies are bought from small, local businesses wherever possible, and we love to work closely with them.
A strong working relationship ensures the high quality of products and services.
Wine tasting at the local wine cave is a tough and challenging job.
Seriously though, our goals have always been the same; to give our guests the best ski holiday they can have at an affordable price. Your enjoyment is paramount.
Often guests return to us year upon year, some since 1997, which is the most valuable feedback an independent chalet company can have.

Our Environmental Efforts
It’s essential to us that we minimise our impact on the environment.
We know how travelling and skiing affect the planet, so we take steps to balance that.
Actively limiting our impact is at the core of our business, and we encourage you to help us.
Where possible, we recycle, turn lights off, save water and limit the use of chemicals. We protect our guests using chemical products where necessary, such as toilets, kitchen surfaces, and door handles.
Ski La Source limits the purchase of plastic for use within our accommodation. We use local traders, and we’ve switched to greener electricity suppliers.
After the winter season each year, Ski La Source helps the local community clear up the rubbish left behind after the snowmelt.
Supporting Canopée - A Charity That Protects Forests
Ski La Source donates to Canopée, an organisation that protects forests. Our donations help this fabulous organisation protect forests in France, Europe, and worldwide.
They have only been going since 2018 and felt we wanted to support a French organisation.
We plant a few trees here and there, but when it comes to saving forests, we feel powerless.
Trees contribute to biodiversity and mitigate the effects of climate change and pollution – just a few of the many boons bestowed by forests worldwide.
Three years of living with Covid strengthened our belief that healthy forests mean healthy people. Protecting and restoring forests will improve the environment.
Every tree counts, and even small-scale tree planting makes a difference.

Operations Team
Looking after your every need, we have a team of six, consisting of our operations team and chalet staff.
Working together, the team and the owners offer a wealth of experience and knowledge of the Paradiski area. We are on hand to help make your holiday run smoothly.
Darren
Darren has been enjoying living in the Alps with his family.
He will be on the ground looking after you. He is on hand to help you choose the right property for you and helping advise on all aspects of your ski holiday from travel, ski lessons, lift passes to the best restaurants.
Our aim to make sure that you get the most out of your ski/snowboarding holiday.
Charlie
Charlie has a passion for the mountains and loves getting as many kilometers under his skis as possible.
A very keen cyclist he loves nothing better than testing himself on the famous cols in the area.
Chris and Linda set up Ski La Source in 1997 and we pride ourselves on a company with the heart of the business is you our guests.

Mountain Life
Living in the mountains we enjoy ski, snowboard, hike, climb, mountain bike and enjoy white water sports.
About ten years ago, they started to play open mic gigs at apres ski in Les Coches, which led to the pair playing live with friends to entertain guests and locals.
Food is a significant interest for both of them, so they enjoy creating chalet menus. Their love of cooking inspired them to home-grow vegetables in the summer months.
They grow their produce with a permacultural approach, creating a garden in harmony with nature. They plant a diverse selection of edible plants in their food forest to help the natural ecosystem flourish.
Local Holiday Accommodation Suppliers
To match our customers' needs exactly, we work closely with other local accommodation providers who look after guests in the Le Boulier and Le Domino apartments and a selection of Montchavin self-catered chalets.
We'd use “fun and friendly” if we could describe our chalet holidays in two words. We want you to enjoy your holiday and the Montchavin - Les Coches area as much as we do.
