We feel that ski school plays an important part in allowing you to get the most from your ski holiday. We’ve found one that has a great balance between learning and having fun.
Evolution 2 is a small ski school providing a friendly, individual approach and we’ve found that the instructors really enjoy what they are doing. We have got to know the team well and know which instructors will suit individual needs so, if you wish to book lessons, the more information you can give us the more you will get from your lessons.
Please note that because they are a small team the instructors do get booked up quickly so the earlier you can let us know which type of lessons and how many you would like the better.
THE REASON WHY WE RECOMMEND EVOLUTION 2
 Ski Courses Run by Evolution 2
Last season, once again, proved to be a great success for our guests who have had lessons with Evolution 2. The aim of your lessons will be to improve your skiing but above all to allow you to enjoy learning and have fun (you are on holiday after all!).
Adult Group Lessons (11.30 - 13.30)
The Group lessons have a maximum of 8 people, so you won’t find yourself at the back of a long line of 15 people wondering what, if anything, you are learning. These lessons are not only instruction but also enable you to find the best runs suitable for your standard and you will see much more of the mountain than you would by yourself, eg through the trees and different routes not on the piste map. The lessons are from Monday to Friday so for beginners we recommend a private lesson on the Sunday to get you started. Group lessons are great if you’re sociable and you can’t fail to not only laugh at other people in your group but also yourself!
Individual (9.00 – 10.00, 13.00-17.30)
Individual lessons prove invaluable, and you will find you get so much more from your holiday. As a beginner you will get the best possible start to your skiing holiday. Great for intermediates and experts giving you something to improve on and a few different routes around the mountain. We would recommend 1½ hours if you’re not too fit or 2 hours if you have a reasonable level of fitness.
Off-Piste
There are some great off-piste routes eg skiing from Tignes to Champagny and back to Les Coches, Point de Friolin, Roche de Mio and the North Face of the Bellecote, just to name a few. A great way to discover the off-piste is to join Olivier, who has grown up here, on one of his trips or courses. There is a four day course that is a mixture of technique, guiding, Olivier's enthusiasm and his yodel! This course is for good skiers only, who have already had some off-piste experience and have a good level of fitness.

The group lessons provided by Evolution 2 have an emphasis on small groups (4 – 8 per group maximum) and with the children enjoying their holiday. From our experience the children that have taken group lessons have come back full of enthusiasm and wanting to go out the next day and do more of the same. At the end of the week there is a medal ceremony presented by a Yeti! This, in turn, means you, the parents, enjoy your holiday as well!
