Children are very welcome in the chalet. We provide transport to the crèche/lessons in the morning and we collect at around 5pm.

Our day off: Please note that Wednesday is normally our day off, we will take children to their lessons if needed. We also collect on our day off for those that are really can’t ski back. However, children who are having lessons normally will be able to take a gentle draflift and ski a green road by then. After 4 lessons most kids from 5 years old can manage this with some help from their parents.

Things to do: popcorn land, clowns, ice skating, sledging and in the chalet we have some kids games and videos.

IS YOUR CHILD 6 MONTHS – 3 YEARS OLD?

Local Creche
If you have very young children then a car would be advisable to give you more flexibility as children do get cold and tired and sometimes want to come back to the chalet in the afternoon. Please bear in mind that 9am to 5pm is a long day for your child at altitude, after your journey and in a foreign environment and we would recommend 9.00 – 14.30 is enough for them with perhaps one or two full days only. In addition, some children will just not want to go (unfortunately this happens) so be prepared for this eventually. I’m sure you will agree that if you want to continue to come skiing then it is important that they enjoy their holiday and want to keep coming back.

IS YOUR CHILD BETWEEN 3 – 13 YEARS OLD?

Kids Club
If you wish, Evolution 2 can take your child to the kids club for lunch after their lessons therefore giving you up to 14.30 to ski before collecting them. If you want the whole day to ski the kids club can look after your child for the afternoon as well. At the Club they will have fun sledging, visiting a farm and lots more...

Evolution 2 Group Lessons
The group lessons provided by Evolution 2 have an emphasis on small groups (4 – 8 per group maximum) and with the children enjoying their holiday. From our experience the children that have taken group lessons have come back full of enthusiasm and wanting to go out the next day and do more of the same. This, in turn, means the parents enjoy their holiday as well!

Children under 6 are entitled to a free lift pass.

Group Lessons (Monday to Friday)

We would recommend a private lesson on the Sunday to get them started.

Yetison – Beginner 3 to 5 years old (Monday – Friday – 10.30 – 13.00)
There is an Evolution 2 kids garden in the village below with a bouncy castle, gentle magic carpet and obstacles so they can get used to the snow and ski equipment. We will drop you off at the top of the bubble that takes you to the meeting point for the lessons. The kids have a lot of fun and normally want to go back for more.

Petit Yeti : 5 x 3 hrs (Monday – Friday 10.00 – 13.00)
They have progressed beyond the garden. They will learn to do snowplough turns and take a small draglift.

1st Yeti : 5 x 3 hrs (Monday – Friday 10.00 – 13.00))
They can already do elementary turns. They will learn to take the draglift and go on green and blue runs.

2nd Yeti : 5 x 3 hrs (Monday – Friday 10.00 – 13.00)
They can already do parallel turns and control their speed. They will be taken on some red runs.

3rd Yeti : 5 x 3 hrs (Monday – Friday 10.00 – 13.00)
They can do good parallel turns with up and down motion and use ski poles. They will learn to slalom, ski difficult terrain.

Super Yeti : 5 x 3 hrs (Monday – Friday 10.00 – 13.00)
They have completed the 3rd Yeti standard and are ready to take on more of a challenge.

Yeti Competition : 5 x 3 hrs (Monday – Friday 10.00 – 13.00)
They are in control of their speed, have very good technique and you can’t keep up with them any more !!

Free Ride Junior : 5 x 3.30 hrs
They are ready, have good balance and are strong enough to tackle some off-piste

Yeti Freestyle
NEW – no information at the moment. Will run depending on numbers.

Fun Yeti : 5 x 3 hrs (Monday – Friday)
This is great for an all round fun experience (for children who can already parallel turn) discovering snowboarding, carving and snowblades.

Group Snowboarding Lessons
5 x 2 hrs – Monday to Friday - for children from 5-10 years
5 x 3 hrs – Monday to Friday – for kids from 5-13 years
